Torrent’s Orthrus 9 offers a durable and modular silencer for your gun. The welded titanium core makes the Orthrus a robust yet lightweight pistol caliber contender. This suppressor offers impressive noise attenuation, even in its shortest configuration with 5 baffles and 1 blast baffle. The Orthrus features 3 additional pieces, each constructed with 2 baffles per piece. In all, the Orthrus 9 has 12 baffles, giving you a jaw droppingly quiet suppressor.
One notable aspect of Torrent’s booster assembly that comes with the Orthrus 9 is its captured spring design. This unique design keeps the spring under pressure inside of the booster assembly while still allowing for ease of removal and cleaning. Constructed with flexibility in mind, the Orthrus 9 accepts industry standard 1.375×24 mounting options. Even with all of these features, Torrent’s Orthrus 9 adds up to only 9.5 ounces in its longest configuration.
